I have ordered some heirloom beans from Canada and they have not arrived.  They have now sent two lots and still nothing.  Nice to see you have some from USA.

i'm a seedaholic too and glad not to be on my own. I promised myself not to by any more seeds this year as i have enough seeds for the year, that promise was short lived!
I was taking photographs of early Warwick bean seeds in the garden last year because I thought the colours were amazing (how sad is that!) and a favourite past time of mine is to get all the seed boxes out and sort through them and then to look at the seed catalogues yet again!

Good fiction book for seed lovers is Blackberry Wine by Joanne Harris.

Torreya

Any room for another seedaholic, or 2?
OH said NO more seeds :'(
I have supported seed suppliers from around the world on well-known auction site, plus all my local gc's for too long now, and he wants more than bread and scrape for tea >:(
So when we went to Wilko's to-day to look at dog food, HE bought 3 packs of seed :o
Does that mean we both qualify for membership?

Ninnyscrops.

No I am not going to Seedy Sunday in Arundel as I haven't a car!

Just realised I do have the keys to and am insured on my daughter's one, and she's in Dublin for the weekend, two minutes walk away to pick it up ............... erm

Grawc,I have just seen a courgette I didn't know about, quite interesting, It grows up, but not like a vine, It is more like a pot cuke plant and the courgettes all stick out of the sides of the upright stem, described in the catalogue as quite unique, called Ambassador in West Coast seeds book.... take a look  XX Jeannine

I wonder if there's some sort of block we could put on seed websites, like a 'parental block'?  Only joking, I don't need seed sites blocking, I can control myself..................................  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ::)  ::)

Glad you bought the WV - hope you like them!

Same here grawc. My extra purchases included 3 sorts of sweet pepper which I've given up growing due to lack of success - but they were so persuasive about how things could be different .............

Me too! Aubergines (what a laugh ::)) 2 lots of peas (I had decided to give up on peas because the return is so poor for the effort involved) and leeks.

They do make them sound attractive though don't they? Well that's my excuse.. ;D ;D

Wow! Surfacing for air! I'm resisting so far but it'll nag at me and I'll go back. It's the second visit that's lethal... or sometimes I even make it to the third! ;)

Still no chance of doing anything in the garden as there's snow everywhere so I thought I'd go out and feed my habit. I came back with some dahlia tubers and montbretia and some flower seeds, orchid fertiliser, red kohl rabi seeds, a couple of potato planters and some rocket seed potatoes (for the spud challenge you understand!) ;D ;D I do feel much better now about not being able to garden.  ;D ;D
