Hi Guys,

Accidently i bought 24 eggs (ok i bought 12 and hubbie bought 12) and there all out of date in about 4 days and I dont see me eating that many more in the next 4 days.

What i need are ideas i can use the eggs for that can be frozen or will keep.

Any suggestions??

calendula

break them, separate whites from yolks, put in to different containers and freeze  8)

Rosyred

How about an omelette or quiche as they use alot of eggs. Maybe bake two quiches one for now one for freezer.

Tinkie_Bear

How about making yourkshire puddings and freezing them once they are cooked - home made aunt bessies!

Or a pavlova and some mayonaise - that should use plenty ...

Hard boil some (7 min only) for snacks, curries or fish pies.

Oh, & 'twice baked soufflés' & freeze them

Lemon or Orange curd? (made some yesterday and had forgotton how easy and lovely homemade is!)

.... looking at what i have in the kitchen i have enough for a couple of batches of chocolate and walnut cookies.

Thanks for the ideas but i dont have any lemons, i did not know that you could boil hard boiled eggs or omelettes.

I have a quiche in the freezer already and a batch of yorkshire puds but good ideas :)

Spanish omelette.

Don't think it's suitable for freezing, but they use lots of eggs and will certainly keep in the fridge for a couple of days.  A slice of this is a nice snack.

You can't please all of the people all of the time, but you can't upset them all at once either.

'Boil' hard boiled eggs, No7? Freeze - no, but keep for days in the fridge.

Freeze the Soufflés.
