Has anyone made or purchased a polytunnel covered with enviromesh and would this possibly be an advantage over polythene ?

Do you mean a polytunnel that you can walk in and out of or one that you cover low plants with?   ??? ???

I make some semicircle hoops with heavyduty wire I found in the garage which supported some environmesh I got from our lottie trading post, whole lot for under a tenner. No cabbage white this year at all.

If you buy the readymade ones, they are very expensive.

Advantage? Enviromesh breathes & is water permeable.

My neighbour uses one for growing show leeks, but i've never tried it.

I get my enviromesh from Suttons. 2 for approx £32 with postage. Garden Warehouse LBS do a huge one for £250 quid. It does last though lol
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I bought 12 metres (2m wide) direct from Agralan last year, but think they now sell through this site:
