Perhaps I should not post this at all as it has very little to do with vegetable gardening, but here goes anyway. THis afternoon we walked down our lane to post a letter (seeds for Emma) and there on the pavement at the bottom of the road 1.5 miles away from home was a plant label. Nothing odd about that, except that it was one of mine. I used to sell plants and put 2 labels in each one. One was the plants name and the other the price with my name on so I could work out what I had sold. This was a price label. Well I have never sold any plants to anyone down the lane so how did it get there? Very odd!

A bird perhaps. Possibly a magpie?  :-\

They like to do things like that. Probably picked it up from a garden, then dropped it in the lane.

Wish I could do sound effects, I want to do that....ooo oooo eer noise that you get when you see spooky houses on the tv!  ;D  When did you last sell a plant?  Maybe you have a label stalker!  ;D

Palustris

Not sold a plant for over 12 months. Never sold a plant within 30 miles of here. Not sold a plant even then to anyone who lives nearer than 20 miles away. And never put a plant in my garden with a Price label in. And in any case always took the price label out of the plant before sending it off with its new owner.
