Went into a book shop and they were selling of 'The Allotment Journal' cheap;... so i bought 3 to sell on ebay.

They are lovely books with loads of space to detail plantings and things to do, even includes sticky dots to stick seed packets and stuff...

I'll let you know when i have them listed... I've looked all over google and can't find them anywhere so hopefully onto a bit of a money spinner - if so i'll go back and buy the rest - would make lovely pressie for xmas.

Back to topic. OO if you do buy more, and depending on price, I would like a few. Will they be in 'books' or 'Gardedning'?

I have a copy of the allotment journal, one of the book companies came around work and it was a bargain, just need 5 mins to sit down and fill it all in now, it's really worth a look.

I just bought a copy of 'Gardeners Diary' from someone on Amazon, expecting it to show me what to do and what veg to put in my lottie from week to week but it mainly shows stuff about actual gardening  :(  Bit disappointed really.

I'll deffinately be on ebay to watch out for your auction emaggie! it sounds like just what I was looking for.

My old granddad used to have a proper week-to-view diary where he would add notes about his own lottie and it had tips in the footers about what to do and when (albeit with harsh chemicals, but then they were produced in the 60's and 70's!).  Is this what this diary will do, and if not does anyone know where I can get one of these?  (Sorry to hi-jack your post em)

Glad they arrived and that you are pleased with them... I've started xmas shopping too which is very unlike me... usually I'm a December the 15 sort of person lol.

I've got my 1st school fete tomorrow with the cards... and to make it more exciting i've managed to book one fete in the morning and do another school in the afternoon - I'm going to be shattered I think.

Emagggie

The cards are beautiful, and very good value. You should do well. ;)

Also sorting out some plants to take tomorrow as the greenhouse is down and everything is looking sad now!
