Seeing as this is not the watershed I will not use the 'S' word.

After working all yesterday in the monsoon for 15 hours getting all ready to get the show on the road. Checking and double checking all our plants, props and vehicles so everything can get to the NEC without a hitch.

I get up at the crack of dawn to get the ferry and they are all cancelled due to the strong winds. I wait hourly for an update from the ferry company and even then there will be a backlog.

It is the same every time we build. Something like stage fright kicks in and we will not be happy until we are on site and building. So here I am on the edge of my seat, overdosing on expresso, ciggies and nerves. Is it all worth it.

I'm sure it will be, Ace. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

It will definitely be worth it ACE, your gardens always look so good.  You still have plenty of time to get there and get set up, but I know what you mean, when you are all packed up and ready to go then have to wait, very frustrating.

Looking forward to the photos though and hope to see it on TV! ;)

coznbob

hopefully you are on the ferry as I am writing this, and there will be no need to write good luck.

But good luck anyway, the mosiac looks stunning, it will be a knockout! ;D
Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.

Ace. I can understand your frustration when things are out of your control. Do hope things get better. I have seen some of your great work on I.O.W and now looking forward to pics of NEC. Good luck all the way.
Lorna.

Hope you got there safely yesterday and are busy setting up now.... ;)
