weather damage

hi, has this weather damaged your crops, it's blow down my peas & beans, potatoes halms, and a honeysuckle on some trellis,  >:( >:(

Garden seems ok, although I think I have just tempted fate. Last night the plot was ok, but overnight anything could have happened.

To think that a few weeks ago I was contemplating a rain dance! :o

I planted my Buttercup squash plant on Saturday and haven't been to the allotment since. I'm worried sick if it's doing ok.  :-\

I have lots of seedlings in my garden and lost quite a few because of snails being active! >:( I have to sow again.

I'm not holding out much hope for the parsnip seeds or french bean plants I put in on Saturday, but we've had rain rather than wind here so far so may have got off likely- or maybe the wind's on its way!

The haulms on my maincrop Maris Piper have all snapped! (it looks like someone's jumped all over them!)

Have I lost my crop?

I suppose I'd better count my blessings though, next door has a tree down!

Bad news: The door to the little lean-to greehhouse blew off and is in pieces, and some of the felt has been ripped off the shed roof.   >:(

Good news: potatoes are flattened but not many have snapped. New cold frame not touched, despite not being pegged down properly, so young toms and squashes are still snug and warm. I'm late getting going with most things this year, so there's not a lot out that could have been damaged. :) :)

Lottie is being battered -needed to tie in asparagus ferns before they snap off, but no other real damage this morning. But plastic mini greenhouse in the garden blew over whilst I was on the lottie and OH had to go out in the rain to rescue all the plants!

Broadies are all a bit bashed but OK, potato haulms look as if they've had a heavy soaking (which I suppose they have).  Loganberry and a few raspberries blown about a bit.  So luckily no serious damage.

Everything was OK yesterday but very windy with non stop rain today so I don't know what it looks like today. ??? ;D ;D ;D

just tied my toms further up the stem as a few were flopping over. one sunflower was on the ground but it was tied up also as the stem was not broken. everything is getting a good soak which is not a bad thing

Some of my peas have blown over and snapped - so will harvest as mange tout - my broadies have blown over, but hopefully no other damage, and the runners look very bashed but ok (I hope).

The potatoes have been flattenend and now have black spots on the leaves and some stems are black - bit too early for the dreaded blight isn't it??

Update on my Buttercup - it's doing ok, still very much alive! :D Sweet potatoes I planted last week seem happy enough too. :)
It's freezing today though! I don't know if I should plant out other squashes today. :-\

none at the moment even the sunflowers are still standing proud the french beand are popping up thanks to the rain :D 1 ridge cuehas died because of a nibbled stem i,m a bit concerned as that group of plants don,t like the cold i should hang on to the rest of your squashes tora better safe than sorry

Frost has killed all the runners and damaged the 1st early spuds.
The maincrop remain untouched.
