Both lovely sights Ina.  I love lupins - real country garden!  Your strawberries look luscious too and are well on in comparison to mine. I have loads more flowers on mine than I did last year though, so think it will be a good year for them.  Strawbrries and cream - yummy!  :P busy_lizzie

Lupins and foxgloves - what a lovely combination :)  A beautiful show Ina.  Strawberries look good - I haven't got room for them.  I think you can grow them in baskets, but not the same I should think.
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Like b.b. I too love what I call the 'peppery' smell of lupins and together with the foxgloves they certainly do make a lovely sight as well as those other lovely flowers in the background - did you grow all those lupins from seed too?

Seeing all these makes me think I should have a go at growing some lovely flowers next year - and what yummy looking strawberries too....

Yes, it's nice isn't it. Wonderful to just sit in the lottie en enjoy the sights and smells. I never sit long tho', I always see something that needs doing hahaha.
Yes, the lupines are grown from seeds. I just sowed another lot for next year.

Beautiful photos Ina, I adore Lupins, unfortunately so do our resident slug population, so have given up trying :'(  But lovely to look at someone elses ;D

I too love traditional border flowers like lupins and delphiniums, however like many others the local slugs and snails like them too so I now gro a few in pots rather than the borders.

I am though thinking of pehaps growing loads from seed, then it doesnt matter if the slime devils get a few. The garden doenst seem complete without them somehow.

Green with envy at yours by the way ina. Wonderfull!  :D

You've come up trumps again, Ina!  And reminded me that my straw is still lying in the shed not under my strawberries and tomorrow I'm off to see Harry Potter with some of the grandkids so it will be Sunday before I get down to the lottie.  ::)
