I am sitting here doing anything in order to put off the task of potting up my tomato plants into their final pots and growbags.....30 inside, 10 bush varieties into pots, and starting to harden off the other 24 to go down the lottie......... :-\
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

It's not just the stir fry - it's the SPACING that is critical!

And 75 plants only gives you 50 'fruit' - one a week - through the year- plus PSB/WSB for 4 months.

As opposed to 1/4 TON of toms in 3 months!!

Well, Iv'e justy painstakingly sown into individual cells, 104 assorted brassicas, to complement the 60 or so that we already have ready to go in up the plot as soon as..................

and we only have 12 toms and 6 cues at home.
Grow your own and enjoy the fruits of your labours,
Regards Alan.

If we're getting competitive... i sowed 120 brassicas today (one 40 module tray each of caulis, cabbages & brocolli).  I'm working on the theory that if one third doesn't germinate and one third is nibbled by slugs/birds, we'll still have enough for us!

Just teasing you Tim, actually I sympathise,

I have a tray of melons...not, cos the flowers are too big.

Squash...not,  cos  there is no sign of vining.

Cucumbers..not,   for the same reason above and anyway I only planted 6 and they are doing fine.

Zucchini...not, same reason as cucumbers.

I planted loads of them  then must have chucked the packet away.so they must have been very old seed that I was not expecting to germinate and of course they did...probably all of them

The only think left is pickling cukes,so I am hoping that is what they are .

I have over 60 of the heritage cabbage ( Delaway) from this years HSL catalogue, and probably approaching a 1000 assorted Brassicas... we do like our greens!
::)

That's 2.73 Cabbages a day?? With Cornflakes, Curry, Creme Brulee.....??

Keep the home well ventilated?
