that is the question!!    :)

Coming through the back of my lottie through a thin hedge i now have an invasion of a particular type of weed. i'm sure you will all know it, its the one which sticks to anything like velcro.

Is it an annual or perenial (sp?) weed and therefore : can i compost it.?

What is that darn weeds name? I have more of it in my garden than I can get rid of! Plus my kids are now attatched to the hedge till winter! ;D
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

We spend more time trying to get rid of goose grass than picking tomatoes. BURN it!! = Tim

PS Thanks for that site, Emma - just what we were looking for yesterday.

Great site emma - immediatly bookmarked, thank you

Doris - i suggest you train an animal to feed your hedgebound kids and you'll have a trouble free summer!

Unfortuantly this weed has totally invaded a nice patch of nettles i was cultivating. Loks like a good days work ahead soon to try to remove it but as it is coming from someones field behind this could be a regular job  :(

Oops, I've been sticking that on the compost heap.  I''ll be the green bin for it in future.
