Where do they come from?

My aubergines are covered in greenfly, despite having been in the house the whole time! Where do they come from and what's the best way to deal with them? I've been squishing them and spraying with soapy water so far.

Just keep squishing - gently!!

greenfly seem to love aubergines and hide in the soft curled up new leaves.  squish.

I find that if you keep on top of them in the early days, they seem to give up.
