The Trilliums and snowflakes have been wilting in the heat, as you see, but they perk up overnight, so hopefully I should have better pics shortly. it's the first time I've had arum creticum flowering, though I've had it for years, and they're still pretty mingy specimens. The garlic pic has garlic on the left and elephant garlic on the right.

Me too I love the trilliums. have only ever seen the white ones.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

These are kurabayashii, I think; the classification is a bit indefinite with these. The ones you've seen are probably grandiflorum, the commonest. I have some in the seed; with luck they'll be up next year, and hopefully flowering about five years after that.

Looks a lovely site, Robert, with all sorts of interesting things [mainly ones I've never heard of!].  :)

LOVE those trilliums Robert....which reminds me, I brought a couple last year and planted them, but where oh where can they be!! :-\

Don't lose them! they're pretty tough, but they can be a bit slow to emerge.
