It won't let me log in there yet - my (BPC) password still works on the BPC site so I assume the site isn't active yet.  As well as blightwatch, Fight against blight maps are available here:Fight Against Blight but this again has not been updated since last year and I had to update my bookmarks last year for that as when I first revisited, I kept getting the 2005 site.

The idea of putting compost tea on the toms after harvesting wouldn't help me; I grow them outdoors, and the damn blight always strikes when there's plenty of fruit still ripening. I wouldn't expect it all to ripen before the frosts anyway.

Mine are outdoors - the smell dissappears after a few days so what I meant was harvest some, tea the rest then do next harvest once smell has gone. :)

not doing very well today am I ???

Blightwatch is now a subscription service - it costs to join

The Potatocrop site still recognises my login, and isn't demanding money. Who needs blightwatch this time of year anyway? The time is coming.

Can't see where it says that on the homepage :-\

Tim, Co.Cork is the wettest place in Western Europe at the moment. I cut the grass for the first time today and nearly wrecked my mower.........that wet!!!! Thank God for my glasshouse, at least I get to sow a few veggies in there while I wait for the beds to dry out!

RC,

If you can get in please let me know how, my registration stopped last year, although I still received the SMS messages for areas that I had set up earlier

If you want confirmation that you are no longer a member go to http://www.potato.org.uk/members/password_reset.php and see what happens
