we've told him he's got 'til the first week in february to fix it, we haven't paid yet, thank goodness
he keeps coming up with excuses, the ground was WET, for goodness' sake it's been p***ing down for months,
anyway, just found out he's going to the plot tomorrow to "have a look"
we can't get there 'cos of specialist appointment, he's not given a time..the chairman's going to go in case he can catch him
oh, yes, we've threatened if it doesn't get fixed up, we'll get someone to put it right and knock the price off his fee
maybe that's why he's going tomorrow  :-\ :-\

legendaryone

Glad to see that he isn't getting away with it :)

Go Scousers, go scousers  ;D - it looks like a shambles, hope you get it sorted out.  Let us know how it goes... x
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

kt.

Get trading standards on to it. Bubble his life away as his business should be folded if thats his best work.  >:(

Shame really cos if he had done a good job it could of been the start of many lucrative contracts for his business with your local council.

Shocking.  Don't pay him.

Your contract with him (even verbal) stated that you wanted a fence as you described and he obvuiously agreed as a "fence" is now in location. He provided an inferior fence and can rectify it at his own cost.

yeh, and we've still got his estimate to prove it, still not been, trouble is, it's too cold to stand there all day  :-\ :-\ :(

P'raps it's a "Human Rights type fence" - you know - made to ensure that burglars/dogs etc human rights aren't damaged by actually keeping them out!!!

Kea

Put a big sign on it this fence is built by 'company name' padlock it on and only agree to take it down when he's fixed it. Send a copy of a photo to local paper if he's slow at responding. Good advertising for him!!!! ;D

manicscousers

wow, you're worse than me, brilliant idea though  ;D ;D ;D

cornykev

Don't pay him a penny until its finished and exactly to the spec that you want, I agree with Kea stick his name on it  :-[I bet he takes ofFENCE to that, and if all else fails you can have limbo competions in the summer 8).      ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
