Hi all, I'm new to this site above is a link for a photo of my allotment in Den Helder, Holland taken on 30-12-06. It has a canal on the front/south side(not in photo) and other lots round it. I have a little garden house 4x6m(cozy)and a good size greenhouse. We have only houses and a bit open grassland round the complex which consists of two hundred lots in three sections seperated by canals, which is also handy for security. I have 6 Apple tree's, 3 Plun tree's, 1 Pear tree, 1 sweet Cherry Tree, 1 Abricot tree, 3 Gooseberry bushes, 3 Blackcurrant bushes, A 15m long hedge of Redcurrants(shared, A 6m row of Raspberrys and other perminent plants Asparagus, Artichoke and Strawberrys.

Please send links for photo's of your plots

Welcome to A4A I am sure you will enjoy it here. I haven't got an allotment just a smallish garden but have benefited (as a novice) from so much help I have been given from members over the past two years.
Regards Lorna.

You guys are just teasing us with your lovely sunny photos when we are in the midst of this HORRIBLE weather!  Lovely looking plots, very tidy.  Wish mine were that organised!

Sadad what lovely pics! what are the yellow flowers next to the corn? good companions?

Great stuff. It makes the dull winter days bearable seeing the lovely sunshine on the immaculate plots
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

kitten

Wow is all I can say saddad, your plot is so neat and tidy, it's an inspiration  ;D !  I will post pictures of ours if it's ever that neat (just give me a decade or so....)  ;)
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

Wow, Saddad, that's beautiful! I'd love to do something pretty like that but every other plot on the site is purely functional.

What are the bed edges exactly? How long did they take to get looking like that?
