My Dad would never go in to work on Friday the 13th - he always insisted on having the day off. He was very superstitious!  He worked in the local shipyyard where there was plenty of scope for accidents so he never took any chances.  :-\ busy_lizzie

Well I'm not all that superstitious, however, had to nip into Chelsmford this morning, and by the time I returned home, about 25 minutes, there had been a huge crash at the corner of our road, ambulances, 3 fire engines, lots of police, glass and dare I think it....bodies in the road..... :'(.  What a god awful way for those people to start a Friday!  I was thinking about going to the allotment, but the postman came and I missed the parcel, so I think I have some onions at the postoffice ( :-* Jim if they are yours), so have decided to count my blessings and stay home and catch up with the housework.

Take care out there!

Oh dear - we're really for it...

1+3+1+0+2+0+0+6 = 13 scary enough

but also...

13+10+2006 = 2029...but then 2+0+2+9 = 13!

ahhhhh!

questions you have to ask:

how much have they offered ?

do you like your job ?

how long would it be before the whole lot goes under anyway ?

then use the offer as an opportunity.

i've been made redundant 7 times i think (at the last count), i'm still fed and watered and pretty happy with my lot.

you could say today was your lucky day.

;D

We got married on the 13th and 13 month's later we had our first son born on the 13th. He is now 13 years old.
I have plot number 13 on our site. My work locker is number 13.
Although unfortunately though my dad died on a 13th.

13 seems to have a thing in my life and for some reason i always choose it when doing the lottery.(still waiting for the luck with this one though)
