Mirabelle glut ... help help pleeeease!

Tim, I wondered if I could do that, I have just preserved 30lb of plums in different ways but couldn't find a recipe for gin.  I will remember for next year, thank you. :)  T.

That Belgian site gives several recipes for plum liqueurs if your French is up to it.  Just remember "prunes" is plums, not prunes, if you see what I mean ...

SS,I could never aspire to such greatness ;D. I'm not sure about Mirabelles,but think I may have found a small stash.What ever they are I will make something gin with them if there are any left by the time I get to them. (tomorrow I hope, along with the plums.)All this fruit for free is wonderful.     ;D ;D

ooooo....yyyuuummm.....got me a thinking.....mum arrives tomoz with her plum harvest....might do a kilner full with gin for chrimble for a change!  :P

Wow SS!!  I've just seen your harvest.   What a lot of Mirabelles.   ;D ;D 

The gin sounds good.  I might try it with some of my plums.  ;D ;D ;D
