Larkspur

You might think they are slow Tim, but they are long way ahead of mine, grown in the same conditions and which havn't set their first truss yet.

saddad

I haven't got any trusses yet either, just transplanted to final position today!
???

... and I sowed a second lot last week, so they will be a little further behind! ;)

Me too this morning - the size of a spud fruit :D :D :D
Does this mean it's time to feed? :P

Puzzled of Peterborough replies: what's selective feeding please? :-[

tim

Presumably that annoying period when you are feeding some things & not others?

Can't wait until ALL the water can have food in it & then it's done through a dilutor.

At present it's can after can & my hip's killing me!

MonsterMum

Thanks to Tim I have my first 3 tiny tomastoes on my Big Boy, plus another 3 trusses and trusses on my Moneymakers and Golden Sunrise.  I'm soooo excited  :D

Would this help, tim?
Filled with water of course, not suggesting you'd enjoy refreshments to take your mind off the watering ;)

tim

I'm afraid to say that alcohol does ease it!!

;D ;D ;D

or something like the water carrier here
http://www.brettellbrothersgates.co.uk/
but it'll set you back £275 :( :-[ ;)

dicky

I've got 3 plants in the greenhouse planted in march, got small toms on the garden pearl, flowers on the gardeners delight and golden sunrise.

6 plants for outside only went out yesterday so going to be a while

tim

Oh, thanks, Sprouty - but I think that I already have enough middle-age spread!

The water carrier - yes - much about it in the ST. But difficult to get over a one foot step into the greenhouse?

dicky - planted or sown in March? If the former, you were stealing a march on us??

spacehopper

Totems have a few flowers, everything else still to flower. Some not even in big pots and half a seed tray not pricked out!  :o Must try to have a winter baby next time!
Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.
