After the rain, time to get cleaned up. The other 20 or so sparrows were sat in the hedge waiting their turn.

Bathtime keeps us amused here too, especially when they have a good soak and have difficulty taking off again.

Our bird bath is so well used that it needs daily top ups in warm weather.

Some of the smaller birds seem to prefer its shallowness to the small wildlife

pond. And none of the birds venture into the bigger pond where the carp are.
