Tim,

Lovely - and well done !

To make the image smaller, change the size before uploading it.

Cheers

Now why would you want to make the picture smaller? It's perfect.
We have two big clivia's and everytime I want to get rid of them because they take up too much space but when they bloom I'm glad we have them.

What color, beautiful Tim.

This is the first flower of one of the 5 sections we got when we split it  up last year, as I mentioned to Emma apropos her 'orangery'. It then had 5 or more flower heads at a time!

A friend found it under a hedge in someone's garden, and gave it to us!

As to size, can you still import pics side-by-side? = Tim

BTW - that spike grew from bud to this in a week!

Mrs Ava

It is gorgeous Tim.  And I didn't realise how scented they are - not overpowering, but when I was in my conservatory bothering them all yesterday, I was suprised at the beautiful scent.

Our Clivia is now flowering in a friend`s conservatory because it simply outgrew the space we had available.  Still, this just happened to be flowering today, so........

I think the white ones are reeelly elegant. = Tim

Nuts.....why can't I get my hipperistrum...is that what they are called...something along those lines.... to flower??  Did everything the book said.  I have failed  :'(

p.s.  Red white or blue, they are gorgeous!

Mimi

What stunners ;D I bought mine as a loose bulb in a garden centre in Germany.  So havent got a clue what colour it is going to be.  Its in the tight tight bud stage just now so I think I may have to wait a bit to find out.  The bulb didnt come with instructions but just followed good old Dr H.
P.s  This is the second lot of growth as the puppy chewed the first lot.  Dont think its poisonous as she is still hale and hearty. :D

TWO for  Emma, actually! Two to come. = Tim
- the better photo.

Mrs Ava

Tim, they are stunning!  In a jealous rage I nipped down to have a look at mine, and I see I have another flower bud coming.  When they start there is no stopping them, and I am soooooooooo not complaining!  They are a joy.  My bird of paradise is still in flower, has been now since before Christmas!  2 flowers both looking great and much bigger than last year.

I am growing some clivias from seed that my father in law bought home from a tropical holiday somewhere last year, and they are growing so quickly I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't flower next year!  Wonder what they will look like?  It is a joy this growing things!    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

ScrumpyJack

Why?

I just thought you were updating your pic to reflect the seasons,  Its good to see you out of the sleeping bag.

Although I'd expect the next one, to be outside at your lottie in the spring in a deckchair.
