Thanks

Fothergills, Marshalls, Suttons, Dobies, Tuckers, Browns, Viva Verde, Real Seed Company, Kings Seeds, Seeds of Italy, Thompson & Morgan, Organic Gardening Catalogue, Suffolk Herbs

I think there's quite a bit of reading there for you  ;D

Have a look here for an extensive list:

The price varies hugely. The larger well know brands seem to be the most expensive. Other smaller outfits offer a more select range but at more competative prices.

Personally favourites are Alan Romans, Organic Gardening Company, Simpsons, Thomas Etty and Tuckers.

Ordered my seeds from Alan Roman, a few more from Dobies, and my spuds from T&M.  And I vowed I wasn't going to darken T&M doorstep again.....but I so wanted that honey scented echinace.  ::)  If you google, there are reams of seed supply companies, and don't forget, once your garden centres and nurseries have dismantled all of the christmas tat  :-X they will have seeds, along with most supermarkets.  I bought fresh parsnip seeds last year from Dobies and then again from Marshalls after the first lot didn't germinate....then the second lot didn't, so I bought a pack of Gladiator from Asda and they were through in no time!

I have tried most seed catalogues over the year, and have found DT Brown  good and JW Boyce of  the very best
Boyce sell by the packet, and in 7gms. Also they sell peas and beans  by half pints and pints. Germination i foulnd to be very good.  Theres more information about seedsmen on the site "Growing vegetables on a Leeds allotment"

In terms of range, price and service, my favourite has to be Chiltern Seeds. I haven't been using them long enough to comment on germination rates, but.. we'll see!
