Only to the pot plants in our living room, and they are presumably tone deaf! I accept that not everything or everyone appreciates my music ...

I take my wind - up radio to the lotty so the veggies can listen to the footer  :)

I've sung Gilbert and Sullivan songs to my chillies and they've thrived.  Can't say the same for the neighbours tho'. ;)

they get played all sorts of music when in my "greenhouse" - ie on the windowsills. But as soon as they go outside they are starved of music. Could explain why I lose so many out there!

I reckon tomatoes must like the musical Grease. Mine have not done well since the family with the Grease-singing teenage daughters moved away. I'm happy, but the tomatoes aren't! I wonder if they like Singin' in the Rain?
gone to pot :D

No, they need a much higher light intensity to contain a reasonable amount of substance. You need to set a room aside and do it properly.

Well it doesn't entirely qualify as playing music but if one of my houseplants isn't doing too well I'll put it on top of one of my stereo speakers.  There's something about the vibrations that plants respond to that I'm sure someone with a more scientific understanding can explain (I'm still on GCSE's).  Maybe something with a lot of bass will enhance the effect, I'll try it out with a bit of Barry White and let you know  ;D
