Latest pictures of the plot, Baz took these yesterday.  :)

You can compare these two with the before picture!
The far left hand bed has comfrey and clover.
The long one in the middle has broccoli, cauliflower and clover. In the foreground are some blackcurrant cuttings. The current digging patch is on the right!

This is the base for the new shed. Those paving slabs were heavy!

The clover in the play pen is doing really well. It is supressing most of the weeds, and hopefully doing the soil some good too. Also the littlies like playing on it.

Piles of bricks etc. Anyone want any rubble?

What a job well done ;) a lotta graft gone into that and looks lovely, it appears like an old well establish plot with those lovely trees and hedgerows, I particularly like the old home made sheds, it adds character to the lottie and the crazy paving. ;)

Yeah, we love the sheds too, but unfortunately they are on the point of collapse (one has already come down  :o ) and are unsafe. It would cost us far more in materials to repair them that it would to buy a new  shed, so the old one has to go  :-\

The trees and hedges make it so peaceful. The plot and five others around it used to be worked by one chap, he must have virtually lived on site!

am i the only one who likes the rubble area. i love it, make a compost heap or two, an area for storing top soil and horse manure and a great place where you can store alll the other bits that you dont want to clutter the lottie up with!
