The Southern Food one is useful - I usually use porridge oats as a coating.

Oh,  & remember, a 'green' tomato can be a wonderful orangey colour inside.

I like the pound cake idea. My friends are slowly getting used to me putting strange veg into cakes, so I think I'll have to try this one out on them. ;)

One of my tomato plants got destroyed yesterday (children!) and I have a bowl full of large green tomatoes now. Think I might try the pickled green tomatoes and also the fried green tomatoes, they sound tasty. Thanks for posting the links EJ :)
