Sheep Manure

I know sheep manure makes good liquid feed, but would it be OK to use as "normal" manure?

I've a feeling the only reason it isn't used that way is quantity (horses kept in stables, cows in sheds over winter, sheep in field so no collection of it). Would like to know if this is so or if there's another reason.

I've access to a large quantity of very well matured stuff if I want it. So is it OK?

We're trialling shepp manure liquid feed on our lotty along with Miracle Grow and comfrey tea.  Not claiming it's going to be scientific though  ;)

One of our lady plotters has a couple of pet sheep and she brings the spare stuff to the lotty and it all gets used  :)
