Internet go slow - wonder if this is why?

Hi all

I wonder if this has something to do with it - I've had over a dozen spam e-mail messages tonight alone, all with the W32/MyDoom-A virus, enclosed in a zip file.

Time to check your virus-protection is up-to-date?  Firewalls working?  And for taking particular care with e-mails from unknown senders.

I'd happily chuck the b...... into Thurso harbour - twice  :) :) and pull him out once! ;D

Hi Gavin, I read on Ceefax yesterday that the internet has been flooded with these emails but didn`t think of that being the cause until I read your posting.  I think you are right, though it does seem a little better today thank goodness!   I`d help you throw the b..... into Thurso harbour if I could  ;D ;D ;D

I may have failed miserably on Penguin Lob - but I'm scoring on this one!  Had over 30 attempts so far, just thsi evening!  B*st*rd - all from the same address ----- on BT Openworld.

Coincidence, re yours on BT Openworld being slow, Eileen?  Or totally irrelevant?  Dunno

I haven`t had any dodgy emails Gavin but a few weeks ago I went onto the BTOpenworld site to report spam from one of their users.  Guess what, I`ve not heard a word from them!  ???  >:(

That certaily explains the slowness, thogh other than internet speedit hasnt otherwise affeced me. I have pretty good spam controls on my email and virus protection/firewall as well. And i dont get into situations where i am likely to come under attack.

we've had attack after attack at work over the last few days - all thwarted because we have red hot fire walls, spam and virus detectors etc. etc. but irritating nonetheless

I must confess to finding the AVG virus checker to be pretty good.....(for a freebie)......

....I get tons of spam emails to a variety of email accounts.....and that always picks up the viruses.......

......and how do all these people know I need a bigger willy...........and am in desperate need of some "erection help"...........it amazes me........thank god all these offers come though.....

I'm sure the offers aren't personal Ava so don't get too despondant, I constantly get such offers and I'm a girlie, often wonder what would happen if I took them up on their offers, - what could I do with an erection?  ::)
