Enjoy yourselves, everyone, wish we were in UK to join you, except it is as hot there as here, and I prefer to be under the trees in the shade, or in the cool of our old house with  thick walls!
Look forward to seeing some photos!

If I needed a reason to get on here more then it happened today. Met some old friends and new ones. All in all a splendid day. Cannot wait to do it all again. Thank you to all who came to see us at Walsall rd. Do come again soon.

I've had a really lovely day!

I tried to take a lot of photos but most of them seem to be of
people eating - wonder why that is!  I did intend to take a formal
group photo but then totally forgot, sorry.

The seed swap went down a treat with hundreds of packets of seeds
and lots of plants too.

The food was lovely, we could have fed double the amount of people.

Thank you to those who wrote to wish us well for the day, I think it
was a success!  Sorry that some of you who wanted to come couldn't
make it, maybe next time?

Some of you met the cats.  Galina met Psycho and she deserves a medal
for bravery because she picked her up and was not seriously injured in
doing so!

I'll put some photos on now.

What a lovely day- even if the sun refused to shine for most of it! It was lovely to put some faces to names and to see the Walsall site - it was like being in a park full of lovely veg and flowers.

Many thanks to Betty, Shirley and Tony for organising everything, to Anja for the Kale plants, to the seed-givers for the seeds, and to everyone for a lovely day,

Here's the recipe for the elderflower cordial (I think someone on here may have given me the link in the first place!)

OH NO WE COULDN'T...though there was some left over but to feed double amount I would have had to have couple of platefuls less :drunken_smilie: :angel11:

Thank you for having us and doing superb job looking after us...and all those cups of teas just kept coming up.. :icon_thumleft:

Yes it was very special meeting everybody and putting names to faces - and meeting old friends again. I met my favourite cat Calico/Psycho at last - lovely ET and Wanda too.  And got a ride in the Micra!!!  Real treat!

Thank you everybody for lovely food, plants, seeds and your most enjoyable company.  Thank you Cam for the suggestion and thank you to our wonderful hosts - Squash and Shirlton (and Grandad of course).

A super day to remember `
