Gonna start of some seeds over the next few months in a proporgator on a windowsill - what is the best compost to get them started off well?

jethro:
Hi Boxingtortoise, all my seeds are planted in general compost and so far no complaints ;D.

cleo:
same here

Mrs Ava:
yup, me to

Palustris:
Bark-based standard seed sowing compost for me. Add a little per;ite or vermiculite if you are sowing seeds to stand outside over Winter (like say Paeonie or Daphne seeds).
