Rain and sunshine on and off but warm in the south west

Yesterday forecast rain turned into about 10 single drops but otherwise it was overcast. 

I was looking forward to the deluge last night.  Went out early to cheer Noah on as he sailed past.  But actually we had less than 1/4 inch (6mm)  and the soil is still dry as a bone just below the surface.  Now as usual we are tiptoeing through the showers.

Warm and muggy all day with the odd light shower but has started to rain in the last 1/2 an hour, lets hope it keeps raining at old trafford.

Just had very heavy rain here, and I watered the allotment.  Had to put the light on to read my book.

Thunder &lighting ,but not for long ,the rain was bouncing this lasted about 1hr,blue sky now what next?

Floods/showers, dry spells with some sun yesterday but lovely and warm. Bit grey at the mo, looking forward to being on the beach with the grandchildren later. So funny, watching them, where have all the years gone

its started off dull and cloudy, looks like rain but only a 12% chance of that happening.it rained all day yesterday temp a bit lower at 19c, and the wind has dropped to 7mph

Sunny all day  , but I did notice it was dark this morning when I woke up at 4.50am.

mid 20s, rained very early this morning and more showers predicted for this evening. Good, no watering needed! Predict fine tomorrow and some more rain on Friday.

A bit fresh at 5.45am on the way to work in a t shirt but warmed  up into a lovely Sunny day.

Lovely day yesterday, so got the plot sorted for winter.
Strim from end to end- then sprayed the whole plot
with glyphosate weed killer for a fresh start next year.

Fantastic so far here in cornwall, a bit of drizzle on saturday but we're going meteor spotting tonight as it's cleared up
