Not too bad for spring. Plenty of sun but a bitter westerly wind. A few short and heavy showers but we're needing rain here.

Well the promised day of  here failed to materialise..it is overcast and hopefully the promised (as per ancellsfarmers weather reports) -5 won't happen tonight...
as an aside I went to home and bargain today... they are selling 1.5 metre by 5 metre fleece for 99p....bargain!

  HOT dry...polytunnel up to 92f...cold drink break and then going to make some windows for it...I really don't like the idea of cutting the sheet but what else can I do?

Brilliant day but chilly this morning when the sun went in. The wind has droped, thank goodness

Looks like being a nice day,  0% chance of rain
a temp of 14c, so i'm of to the Continental Hotel beer
garden over looking the river Ribble for dinner and one or two drinks.

The sun had his hat on, and I wore my sun hat for the first time this year.

Lovely afternoon at Hidcote. Expected tulips but was full of primroses.

Well its hot hot hot managed to get out into the garden and was cheered right up by 2 trays of corn popping up, bramley apple tree in bloom and all my onions and shallots have popped there head above the ground. True the slugs have had a good go at my cabbages but  not feeling that bad about things. Greenhouse mostly built so am hoping for a great weekend.

Got sunburn on my teeny weeny minature tiny little bald spot on the top of my head. I will have to start combing it with a flannel.

I'ts going to be a mostly cloudy and dry  day with temps a minimum of 14c.

Phew!  my outdoor thermometers showing 22 and it's early yet. Just got rid of the big boys trousers and got the shorts and lightweight undercrackers back on until next november.

It's got even hotter now, so scrub the last comment, I have had to go commando.

Showers forecasted for later on. no as yet, top temp 13c but feels like 4c and still got that bi***y wind !!

Yesterday was Sunny  all day 20c
Today started a bit cold, dull with a few spots of rain
But it's started to warm with the Sun  coming out
The shorts will be on for the football today.
