Drove from Tadcaster to Lancaster and back on the motorway and saw very little snow- it's obviously been very localised today, although to listen to the radio you'd think the whole country was in 6ft of snow! Very windy, though, and icy cold in Lancaster.

We have had plenty of rain though!!

Woke up to 3ft of snow in the drive!
Thinking maybe it wasnt smart to move from near sea level to 820ft near bradford!
Not even moved my wellies or spade over yet !
Icicles are beautiful though, but have so much to get on with cant have it all covered in snow!

Strong wind keeps blowing the letter box,  some  one at  the  door! NO one  there. Last year at this time we  had a  mini heat wave  with  temps of 21c-but  that was  a year ago, to day  its 2c and blowing  a f*****g gale

Just checked last years temps and it was about 20c here and my sweetcorn was showing and I was planting out Charlotte's, I haven't even started sowing sweetcorn yet. Cold here and just started snowing lightly about an hour ago, still not settling. Bring on the warmer weather.
