Think we get £1 a plot off for being oap! I'd pay more if I had to ,we get veg, exercise ,and met lots of Lotty friends ,plus Aim on A4A getting lots of good advice, and give you something to do when you just retire, better than daytime telly Grin

I think most people would pay more, we would love another half plot but very little chance of that Sad.

Not sure about rent rises here as we pay at the end December.

No oap concessions as far as I know as I haven't got there (yet) - just retired early.  Wink

£90 last year and waiting for the new bill to land on the carpet.  Still only works out at less than £2 per week.  Cheaper than the gym.
I think I need to get a gold card to get any reductions as an OAP, don't think we get it automatically.
Have a good day all.  I'm off to Andover with  the grandchildren to watch hawks ect flying.

I agree - despite the money (£48 for me) it's a good way to spend spare time - productive, enjoyable, interesting and healthy....and it lasts all year.

(Must get on with the clearing for winter).  Wink

Our rent has stayed the same at £52 per year.  Bargain!  The site is run by the parish council.

I'm a little worried though - the signs up on the site state that invoices will be delivered at the end of September, and I've not had one yet.  I'm slightly worried that they've kicked me out, but not told me  Huh Huh Sad

£100 is a lot of money but if I put £1.92 a week into a jar I don't think I will miss it too much  Smiley

It is that or staying on an endless waiting list dreaming of the day when I may get a lottie off the council.

I haven't heard anything on the grapevine about rents going up and news travels fast on our site so it may stay the same at £5.00 inc water.
