There was a long thread back in January 2007 about this seed catalogue - a real work of art!

I like Nicky's seeds on line  :)

If you google 'gemuesesamen' you will find lots of German sites. Otherwise look up the translation for 'vegetables' in other languages and google. I'm sure there are masses out there!

Now let's be honest Goodlife, do we really need seeds ;) ;D. You'll need another plot at this rate. On no forget I said that, can you imagine ::).

goodlife

Ohh..Granny...of course we need..one can never have too much..and the world is full of different varieties to try.. ;D..I'll just have to direct them to my box...
OH YES...I can imagine yet another plot....but it would be utter nightmare...this body of mine struggles with these 2 plots..never mind more ::)
I might be daft but 3 one would be classified as brain dead..and I'm not there yet...I might have to start learning some languages....my German is bit rusty too, but practice makes perfect, I wonder how many seed packets would I have to order before my German would become fluent ??? ;D

Yep..kokkopelli...been there...gooood..and their book is worth of every penny.. ;)..and if anybody who saves seed doesn't have one...get it..brilliant..
..and...when I bought mine, I got 5 packets of seeds with it instead of 3.. ;) ;D

grannyjanny

Premier seeds direct, sorry no can do links ;D. Have you been to wyevale yet?

grannyjanny

1ust a thought for anyone who needs storage for seeds, the Co-op has big tins of quality street, roses & celebrations for £4.75. Cheap seed storage ;D ;D ;D.

Lottiman

Great idea dont know which bit i like best storing seeds in tin or chocs in tummy. :P

goodlife

so it's one tin for peas..one tin for beans..etc.. ;D
..and what am I going to do with the chocs.. ;D

goodlife

..talking about storage...my seeds are starting to 'grow out' of my 'new' storage box..
I'm wondering now if I were to make my redundant freezer into storage ....3 draws and a shelf..box of dry 'swell gel' into bottom to keep things dry...would it be suitable.. ???..obviously I would not plug it on... ::)

There has been mention of moles seeds before but I must say their sweetcorn has been brilliant I think that I had 98% germination and  98% good viable plants.
