I FEEL ASHAMED

Saturday I turned the TV on just in time to see Susan Boyle talk to Ant and Dec prior to going on stage.

I feel ashamed that I pre judged her as the usual *Deluded Joke Wanna Be* How wrong was I...(Like many millions more)

I was in tears by the time she finished singing.
I hadn't heard the song before and thought she sang it beautifully.

My Daughter-In-Law (To Be) is part of the production team and I felt obliged to watch  ;)

I'm afraid I also prejudged her.  I was actually cringeing and then she started singing and I was absolutely mesmorised.  Good luck to her, she deserves it, what a fantastic talent.  Lesson to us all I guess.

Lauren. Thank you for putting that link up. I missed the programme, my daughters were telling me about the lady. I then intended watching the repeat but people turned up so once again thank you. Have just sat and listened, what a great singer and a great song

Not ashamed to say I had a tear in my eye too.

Missed the beginning and didnt see the Greek/Irish dancers until just a few minutes ago....my eyes are still watering,laughed so much.

OMG! I hate these types of shows so never watch them but had heard about this lady on the news so thank you for the link.  What an incredible voice!  It is such a sad indictment of our society that such incredible talent can be overlooked for so long just because the face doesn't fit our perceptions of a star.  Good luck to her and I hope she wins.
