Allotments 4 All

Bit of a fire down at the "Parks and Recreation Centre" happened to be there as it took off. No one seems to know what started it (Me thinks secretly. Kids or Cigs) could have been anything it's so hot and dry. It wiped out everything in the boxed garden. The Firecrew soon got there and put it out. And so did my camera batteries, they died at the scene. So, only got two shots...Well prepared ain't I?

Here's another fire that happened last week. It's an old warehouse, definitely arson. The weird thing is what perished in the fire...thousands of "Rolling Stones" t-shirts left over from the "SARS" concert of Toronto 2002?????.....Gotta run..I think the Police are interested in me for some reason...lol

                         

                         

That looks like quite a blaze while it lasted; I hope it's not a sign of things to come. I can well remember being in Derbyshire in 1976, and seeing five milles of moor blazing.

Heck Glyn, it wasn't that long ago and you were posting photos of deep snow drifts, now forrest fires!  One extreme to the other!

I love seeing the pics of where you live Glyn and those ones are pretty dramatic!   We regularly have fires on a field at the back of where we live,only theses are definately caused by kids.  Then there was the caravan park which was getting pulled down last year. They were burning all the old caravans and it spread to far too quickly and whoosh...that lit up the sky! The farmer had a series of fires break out all along his fields last summer , all in one afternoon. Think it was natural causes but knowing the little arsonists that live nearby...! Hey its all go here!

Yes the Rolling Stones t-shirts is bizarre. Who and why ?? lol.
