Hi
A friends tomatillo plants (spanish tomato plant) leaves have gone knobbly - no sign of aphids - anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Dave

kn obbly leaves huh.  I would think that is some sort of leaf miner type bug but someone in the know will come along.

My tomatillo problem is they are TRIFIDS and are planning to take over the world!  Well....my greenhouse! ;D

mine have done this too. touching the damaged area you are left with a powder on your hands, it's almost like the cells have exploded!
my theory was - the leaves affected (not all the leaves on the plant) were touching the glass over the scorching days we have had, and this may have caused it?
have since moved it away from the glass to hopefully recover.

More of blistering of the leaves rather than knobbly - tehy are situated in teh greenhouse away from the windows? Anyone else hazard a guess?
Thanks
Dave
