Translucent patches - all the green surface gone front & back - leaving shiny film. In greenhouse. No apparent pest. Have been splashed. The veins remain.

I think the green bit has been stolen !!

is there are pest that creates the same visual symptoms but upon closer examination one can see a small black larvae growing inside the translucent patch?? I've come across several of these patches on my parsley plants lately and am  wondering what on earth these actually are??

Nothing seen - & didn't seem to affect the crop.

Some form of leaf miner, methinks.
