Brown discoloration of cauliflower curds

For the last few years I have had problems with my cauliflower curds going light brown. It's a general discolouration on the top and below they look OK. From the web it looks like boron deficiency and they recommend using borax. In the old days you used to get this from the chemist but I not sure whether they sell it now. Does standard tomato feed or seaweed feed have boron in it? If not what do I use?

id add a load of organic matter manure or trench this years spent plants and it really should sort its self out

We use "volcanic rock dust" to replenish the mineral content of the soil.  B&Q sell it under their "Verve" brand, but if you Google you can find other brands too.  It can be applied as a dressing or dug in, dead easy.

If you think there's a mineral deficiency (boron or anything else) it's worth a try.

I am not sure Verve do rock dust any more.

What about blood fish and bone?
