johhnyco15

johhnyc015  may the plot be with you

Thanks for the heads up on this one.

Orders various things to try.

I am growing bean summer melody and they are doing very well, really wanted some more for my daughter.  Their soil is terrible so everything has to be grown in pots.   Soil seems to come from some prehistoric beach, it is jammed packed with huge smooth beach peebles and she is miles and miles from the coast.

Hope you have had a chance to open your parcel :happy7:
I got mine at the beginning of the week, I've sown some and the remainder I've put away for next year. Dates are ok, one pack is sow the end of 2017, the remainder are either 2018 or 2019.

Snap  :happy7: I got Jackpot runners too but I bought them because they are dwarf. I've tried Hestia bush ones before but found them stringy and slug magnets. I guess these might be too, but I wanted to try something mum could manage growing herself in a pot or a raised bed. They sound fun and should be quite pretty with the mixed flowers, I've just sown 6 beans in a mix of seed colours.

ooh   I will do the same  at home in a pot    ive got a spare  big pot   Happy days  plus there`s  several  other seeds iam tempted to do which says sow up to June    ,can I fool them do you think or as its passed the longest day  its taking a risk ?

Digeroo

Í have some Jackpot already growing they are just flowers which are quite pretty.  The crossed with French beans so looking forward to them setting, since the flowers are currently falling  off.  Said to be tender.

I have managed to get a couple of climbers in with them and they are climbing. And a couple of the dwarf ones in the middle of the climbers.   Duh.

Jayb

Great, they seem popular at least :happy7:
I hope they do start setting for you now the weather has cooled.

It depends what they are perhaps? But if you have the space and time, I'd go for it, happy sowings  :icon_cheers:
