Allotments 4 All

I divided a streptocarpus plant after flowering last year (didn't have any luck with leaf cuttings although it's said to be easy!). The new plants are now flowering but the leaves are massive and I'm wondering whether large leaves mean fewer flowers? And if so, how can I remedy this?
