Had another short session in the greenhouse this morning and this is some of the differences since last week (https://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,80767.0.html)

The Onions progressing nicely:

The Lobelia

The Sweet Peas....A few misses so I sowed a few more to fill the gaps.

The Geraniums I sowed last week

The Lupins I sowed last week:

The basal growth on my Chrysants coming along nicel, looks like a potential for some good cuttings:

Leeks sown last week  not through yet

Sowed a few Chillies this morning trying something different this year, usually I sow them in cell trays (1per cell).

This ice cream carton came available yesterday so I thought I would use it as a propagator.

Lovely pictures all that potential! Certainly brightens up a grey day , trying to be patient but I think I've just fallen.

No need to rush it is actually me that is getting ahead of myself.

I won't get into any serious sowing for at least  another month yet, maybe even a bit longer than that, but those that I have sown are a few things I want up and running before I need my hotbed for some serious growing/sowing.

In fact already I am getting the feeling that in some respects we are off to another peculiar year, because of the winter we have had.

For example my Snowdrops haven't appeared yet and those are my "indicator" as to when I start my new season i.e. when they appear (which is usually around now) I see this as a sign that Mother Nature has woken up and a new growing season has begun.

My Daffodils are only just showing their growing tips and usually they can be up to 6" tall by now.

I hope I am wrong as I don't want another season like last season!

Not as fallen as first thought then as last week I picked a bunch of snowdrops.
