Just opened the box and the bulb is sopping wet look like its sweated i have potted on in dry soil in the hope the bulb has not started to rot.
Looks like its tried to flower and long white stem up about 8 inches and snapped in half :(

Provided the bulb is firm then it should be OK. They will flower at almost anytime , I have got  a sheet that I used to give out when I did pot plant talks, I could email to you if you like but I must stress it is my idea of what I do I do not claim it to be the only or best way. They should  ,being bulbs flower every year.

The bulb did seam firm all be it a little squiddy on the outside i am hoping the potting on compost (John Innis) will absorbe the liquid and feed the plant :) would love more info

If you let me have your email address I can send a copy to you of my suggested way of treating the bulbs. My email address is in my blog
