Getting excited.  Though last rain did not materialise.  App said it would stop in 19 minutes but someone had forgotten to turn it on.

Front lawn almost brown in places.  Potatoes are drooping.   Apple trees needs rain to fill out the apples.

Looks like it is just arriving in Cornwall.  I have a nasty idea it will pass to the south of us.  So I will not hold my breathe,

Oh yes!  Looks like it might actually be quite wet here in London although the force field round our site normally seems to keep any rain off the plots.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

We could certainly do with heavy rain here in London.  Nothing is growing on my allotment, only bind weed.

Yay  :blob7: :blob7:. Just went to put the bins out - and guess what? It's raining, proper rain not just a misty drizzle. It's forecast to rain most of the day tomorrow too so I'm hoping that my water butts will be full again for the first time in months!

Just my luck!

I hope it doesn't reach Knutsford in Cheshire I am going to Tatton Park Show.

Had a look at the weather report and it says it will come at six o'clock I hope they have got it right this time.

All I have got so far is the misty drizzle - been doing it for nearly two hours.  The spots finally met up on the ground, but almost nothing in the water butt.

Looks like it is finally getting more serious.   A steady trickle into the butt. :icon_cheers:

Sun is shining in Knutsford, so I hope you have a nice day TC.  I am enjoying the rain.

Still raining heavily here - my third in line water butts are filling now so I'll be quite happy for Petrus to move on to give some much needed moisture to other regions . .

My garden is smaller than your Rome, but my pilum is harder than your sternum!

Must have had several inches here - the seedlings in some of the trays out back are drowning.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Nice rain but I did some digging and it was not very far to the dry as a bone bit.

Tomorrow has reduced to a two spots of rain day.

We planned a barbecue for tonight as the rain wasn't forecast until tomorrow, then it chucked it down at 4:00. Dry now but still a lot of cloud around.
