autumn raspberrys

my zeva autumn raspberry's have buds on i only cut them down to the ground January now they look like there ready to flower :BangHead: :sunny: :BangHead: :sunny: any ideas

Is that the correct photo? It looks like you have thickly mulched with some sort of pine wood chip.
Your raspberries might be having a struggle to get through all that. also don't forget that fresh wood chip robs your soil of nitrogen to try to rot the wood. Could the fresh new raspberry leaves be rotting under the mulch?

sorry that pic is when i cut them down in jan ill post a pic tomorrow of how they look now with there buds on :blob7:

What are you complaining about? They'll likely keep going until the frosts. Last year my Joan J fruited from early July into December. They're raring to go again this season.

The more serious point is whether that affects the quality of the fruit and that might be an argument to take the first buds off and then stop them fruiting again later in the year, but raspberries are there to be eaten!

A couple of years ago mine started fruiting in June. So expecting the flowers soon.  They cropped until the frosts in  November.  Not sure Autumn is a good description perhaps repeat fruiting would be better.

yes there growing really strong this is the growth they have put on since jan in the above pic
