My daughter just told me that her 10 minute taxi journey to Luton airport this
morning cost her £22!

I know taxis are expensive, but £22?

 Seems a lot for 10 minutes.  They charge extra during the night.

Was it a taxi or a private hire?  You have to be careful because sometimes they will charge you for the outward journey as well.  Did she get an invoice?  Next time she should get a quote?  Has she done it before, how much was it then.

She got the taxi at about 5.30 this morning, so I suppose it could have been night.
I don't know what sort of taxi it was, she just sent me a text to say it was £22.
I'll ask for more details when she gets back from holiday.
