blueberry ozarkblue
asian pear - shinseiki
aronia

am sosoososo happy. been after the above for ages and finally i've been able to get a much longed-for lift to get to the outskirts of nott'm for this place. has anyone had any experience with the above. they're all a good size and they'll crop this yr, tho' i will be only harvesting a few berries/pears as they need to be be better established for the first 2yrs or so...

anyone bought any fruit recent-ish?

We have 2 of these blueberries but only planted them in autumn. Just taken delivery of our white strawberries or pineberry to give them another name . Should be a fruitful year  ;D

did you get the same variety or different? apparently they should flower at the same time as each other so am pleased about mine as the original one was bought last yr, but didn't really do much (a much smaller plant = from wilko's, so what can i expect! ::)) i am hoping to plant them toget on the lotti but i still need to find whether the soil is acidic enough first!

manics...how are you finding the Pineberries? I fancy giving them a go :) Seen them at a good price :)

They're not too good with competition, hungry little things, too. Taste is lovely but the slugs got lots. I've got some runners in pots so hope they give more this year 

 Right, I'm ordering some then....OH  put off by colour...more for me to eat then :)

Recent acquistions would be quinces over the winter plus a couple of honeyberries, a Chilean Guava and a Japanese wineberry in the last few weeks, hoping to get some hardy bitter oranges soon, Poncirus trifoliata iirc, dunno if it counts but a Szechuan pepper went in with the quinces
