Allotments 4 All

Here is a pic of my last two remaining Echiums.  I saw lots of the Isle of Wight and as they were reaching for the stars, I was delighted when I got home and saw mine doing the same!  It has taken 3 years for them to get big enough to flower, and I started with about a dozen and in that time they have succumbed to the weather.  Heres hoping for lots of flowers and even more seeds so I can start all over again!

If anyone ever gets the urge to grow these monsters, be warned, the leaves and stems are immensly prickly and leave hands and arms very sore!  :-\
