Allotments 4 All

I've barely started and today at 2.15pm get a blight alert for ME1 !

Oh dear it's not good getting a blight alert so early in the season. Although last year we had several by this time here, but it's been too darn cold this year so far. Always a silver-lining!

Rather surprised, it has certainly been wet enough but I did not think it had been warm enough.

The only signs of damage on mine are from frost.

Just been reading that 13% of infections in 2009 were on allotments.   Presume this is something of an underestimation since not many allotment report being hit to the potato council.
