Just haven't had time and now have just noticed some leaves on the chitted sprouted bits. If I manage to throw them in this weekend, how deep do I now plant them? Do I cover up the leaves?

Tiny leaves on the end of the chits is normal, just plant in the same way.

I have a lot I haven't planted yet, and I am going to make a start today, putting them as deep as usual. There is no way you can stop a keen potato from growing. (Cue drought, blight, floods, digging creatures.....)
