We are really sorry but due to circumstances beyond our control, one of which is a vicious stomach bug which we do not want to pass around - the events today at Bulwell Hall Community Gardens are having to be postponed.

We will be rehosting these events sometime in April, when we hope that the weather is better as well.

These things happen.

Hope that no-one is this colour! :tongue6:

Unfortuantly some of us had already set off! , anyway we have polytunnel envy! and I had a lovely chat with Galina who brought along some fantastic seeds to share. I also had an impromptu teaching session on seed saving sat in Galina's car and eating our lunch. Thank you Galina I now have a lot more inspiration and knowledge and some more seeds to get growing. :toothy10:

Yes we had a lovely chat, not just about seeds and even the dismal weather brightened up in the end.  The gardens look a wonderful place and yes - THAT polytunnel!  Spent the rest of the afternoon with my cousin in law (is there such a thing?) - more chin wagging and just got home.

Need the online youtube version of the net-making course, because these pea nets will be needed soon. Pretty please

aj

Oh gosh. So sorry.

Yes, im the one that is very green, still in bed and feeling like crud.

Next time I will take your phone numbers. It was all I could do this morning to get back home in one piece.

Will make it up to you, promise.

Hope that you feel better soon aj.
Puking bugs are horrible so big sympathesis to you.
I once went down with one while at the allotment and just managed to walk home but had to hang on to a lamp post while I p........ed. It was worse for my little dog who I was also hanging on to as she was trying to get out of the way :toothy10:

galina

Hope you recover soon - not a nice thing and takes days to get strength back even after the other symptoms have gone.  There is a lot of it going around at the moment.

Pookledo

I'm quite local. Did you reschedule for April sometime?

aj

It's next Saturday.

p.s...are you the same Pookledo that does BXing? And did we meet in the Beeston Bean about 7 years ago for a coffee to talk about stepkids?

Sherwood

Hello aj - I've been away from the site for about a year. We are in Nottingham and would be interested in coming to events.

Best wishes for the project.
